Eva Crocker
is a Staff Writer and Vice Editor at The Overcast. She has a Master's in English Literature from Memorial University, where she received the 2016 University Medal For Excellence in Graduate Studies. She recently completed an Emerging Writer's Intensive at The Banff Centre, where she was mentored by Madaline Thien. Her short story collection, Barrelling Forward, was shortlisted for the NLCU Fresh Fish Award and was listed in The Toronto Star's Spring Lists: The 25 Canadian Books We Can't Wait To Read.
